To avoid a mile long interview about the past, I wanted to move on up to the present and take a look at what she is doing now. She talked about her recent return to the acting side of the camera. "I hadn't been in front of the camera in over four years, and the only reason I did it was because I got Shelly Martinez, who is a professional wrestler under contract with TNA, to agree to do it. If I was gonna come back and do something, it was going to be something worth while. Somebody of celebrity status who was gonna make an impact for my new company." She told me that being back in front of the camera was like riding a bike. "It felt like I never left." Jewel seemed to perk up and get really excited when I asked her what we should expect. "It's a fetish type movie, something I have never done before," she said. "So it was really, really interesting and really fun. It was actually one of the more fun things that I have ever done in the business. It was all from my imagination. It was a sort of a Bettie Page type parody that I always wanted to do, and just never had the chance to do it." Jewel said she is undecided about starring in any other movies after this one. She said she doesn't have any plans right now, but that doesn't mean she wouldn't do one if someone like Stormy Daniels were up for it. "Somebody that I never worked with before that I want to work with...she [Stormy] is definitely number one on my list for that," Jewel said. Platinum Jewel is doing well. Jewel credits this to the team that she works with. She is proud of her company, from the people in sales and the distributors to her relationship with Paul from Sinsation Pictures. She went on to say, "I think when you have good chemistry and you put out good product and you have my name behind it, it's pretty much a win/win situation." I remembered seeing her in Pauly Shore's independent movie Pauly Shore is Dead, and I had to ask her about that experience before I let her off the phone. She said she couldn't knock it because it was one of the most fun things that she had ever done, but made sure to let me know how she felt about Hollywood. "I have never been one of those girls to seek out the mainstream thing, and that is where Hollywood gets confused, because they think that people get into porn because they didn't make it in mainstream, and I was the opposite.
